Up to £30,000 per annum OTE £35,000

We're looking for a talented New Business Insurance Broker to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of selling commercial lines insurance products.

The Role:

Reporting to the Broking Director and based in the company's Leeds office, as the New Business Insurance Broker you will be primarily responsible for growing a book of commercial business whilst growing and developing a strong pipeline of new business.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Converting leads into sales

- Offering insurance advice and problem solving

- Building a sales pipeline

- Treating customers fairly at all times

- Responding to clients quickly and accurately

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this New Business Insurance Broker role will have relevant experience of selling commercial lines insurance products.

You'll also need experience of:

- Building successful long term relationships both internally and externally

- Rapport building

- Dealing with insurers and key stakeholders

In addition, you'll need the following:

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- The ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Strong negotiation skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Able to work as part of a successful team

- A strong communicator

- Able to consistently achieve monthly sales targets

The Package:

Basic salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £5,000 per annum is also available if you hit your targets
